If anyone hasn't noticed, there have been some slow news days recently (look at all the coverage of Anna Nicole Smith) and an article like this is perfect timing. Crean will be here for a while, and no matter his disposition, I believe he will lead us to some very good times as well. But his cornball schtick would go over like a lead balloon with NBA players. Not only that, his cliche-ridden pseudo tough guy routine would be totally transparent to fans and media in any NBA city (other than Milwaukee).
