Keeps you going for two full hours. I would like to see us go back to the intro format that was used in the early 2000's where each player is shown slapping the ball. I was a student back then and the entire area clapped along with the player slapping the ball. I think a lot of us now just stare at the video screen during the intros as opposed to going crazy during the entire intro. Just my 2 cents, can't wait for Thursday!!! Go Marquette!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10389503.post-11033275651241947492008-01-14T15:42:00.000-06:002008-01-14T15:42:00.000-06:00The intro at the BC has I think a psychological af...The intro at the BC has I think a psychological affect on the opposing team. It would seem to be hard to stay focused if you were an opposing player and saw an intro like that.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10389503.post-5200916932175315172008-01-14T14:26:00.000-06:002008-01-14T14:26:00.000-06:00I'm cranked up.Do we think Louisville is for real ...I'm cranked up.

Do we think Louisville is for real or have they been able to simply hide what is missing due to injury?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10389503.post-50505470189783809952008-01-14T13:23:00.000-06:002008-01-14T13:23:00.000-06:00I love the intro. And of course, the more cowbell, the better.

As for making the atmosphere at the BC more tolerable and more of an event, kudos to the A.department. They've done a great job of doing that. I do wish they'd try to do more w/the upper deck. Not everyone can afford to donate thousands to the school and spend over a grand on tickets every year. Some of us can only afford 40 or so blue/gold priority points. So why give the big spenders a $5 tee they'll never wear. Show some love for the blue collar, session-playin cowbell player.Gene Frenklehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04219722201995664841noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10389503.post-34628660703606783142008-01-14T11:52:00.000-06:002008-01-14T11:52:00.000-06:00The intro is great. Think if you're an 18 year old Top 50 prospect sitting at the game behind Marquette's bench....

I's ask where I could sign right then and there.

Fact is since basketball is all Marquette has, while the kids/team are in the Bradley Center, they're treated like rock stars. Nothing wrong with it, just remember, Men's Basketball is what keeps the MU Athletic Department working.

I was at the game this past weekend, and I thought it was great. Every time out - SOMETHING was happening on the court to keep your attention (T-shirt gun, T-shirt drop, cheers, etc). It all helps make the time outs bareable.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10389503.post-51399376560522594592008-01-14T10:38:00.000-06:002008-01-14T10:38:00.000-06:00I kind of liked having DJ get the first intro howe...I kind of liked having DJ get the first intro however, followed by JErel and Wes. ESPN starts up on the hour, does an intro, then 3 minutes of commercials.
