Exclusive News: Dwyane Wade fans can rejoice

We are pleased to be the first to announce this. We have it on very good deep background double probation sources that a Dwyane Wade DVD is in the works from the NBA and a major movie studio video distributor.

The DVD will feature footage from his early days in Illinois as a kid and then progressing to high school at Richards, college at Marquette under Tom Crean and ultimately to the NBA's Miami Heat where he won a world championship and NBA Finals MVP award.

Details are a bit sketchy, but it appears Marquette will be featured prominently in the DVD from our sources. Release dates are unknown at this time, but one time table suggests around the NBA All-Star game which will be held in Las Vegas this year in February 2007. Sorry, will not be available for Christmas this year but it might make a great Valentine's gift.

Certainly another positive for Marquette and their basketball program as exposure such as this helps with recruiting. Having the Marquette experience be part of this DVD is a huge boon to those efforts.

Wade already has the #1 sales position in jerseys sold and has become an endorsement darling for corporate America.

If more information is available, we will see what we can find out. Great news for Marquette fans and Dwyane Wade fans.

I was LMAO when I read your "announcement" about the news on a popular MU message board. Very nice breaking news story.

This is awesome!! Too bad it will not come out until after Xmas. Any idea on the pricing of these things?

Looks like Dodds has gone off the deep end again on his board. What a loose cannon that guy is.

You did not post a link and that was his request in his open board posting to everyone. What a prick.

I quit my membership to his site last year and haven't missed it one bit.

You have to be f'ing kidding me. You were banned because you followed his requests not to link to Sidewalks?

The guy is so paranoid and holier-than-thou with his attitude.

Noaly, Weedie'smom, Dodds, and the entire Joseph Stalin hit parade can kiss my ass.

Only on the Internet, baby!

Let me see. Dodds banned you for a post that did not link to this blog. Ironically, in the post below you linked INTO HIS SITE today.

Dodds is a good guy, he really is. I'm sure he believes he is protecting something, just not sure what.

The Marquette community is so small overall, it just seems incredibly silly that this stuff even happens.

I did follow his rules to the letter, no links at all. Banned as a result. What can you say...I guess one is damned if you do and damned if you don't.

At the end of the day, it's great to see that this DVD is supposed to come out. Last I checked Wade was a fairly popular guy out there in the Association and any tie-ins to Marquette are a huge bonus for us.

We appreciate your support here and continue to ask that you visit all Marquette sites...that's how it should be.

The thread on Dodds site was great. I must say it made me laugh.

Dodds probably had hurt feelings because you did exactly what he said you should do and that gets under his skin.

He is such a paranoid freak about MU. Removing any posts that he feels may be negative or shines a light not always in the positive manner to Marquette.

He is Crean's bitch. So are you Chico, but I find myself supporting you on this one because Dodd's is a thumb sucking 50 year old baby.

Let those circle jerks at Dodds board continue their censorship.

Dodds needs to get laid. By a girl this time.

Dodds has repeatedly suggested if people don't like his "policy" then go start your own blog. Looks like he didn't really mean people to take that literally!

Terrific news. I can ask for this from my honey on Sweetest Day.
