  1. Good stuff. I even liked the advise Majerus had for Buzz in his interview.

I'm starting to warm up to Buzz, and really like him. I hope he does well. April is a big month for him as he tries to get a few recruits to solidify their committment to MU and hire a staff.

  2. So andy katz doesn't even have MU in the picture for next year's top 25? Any thoughts?

  3. After listening to the press conference and a couple of the interviews, I am increasingly nervous about this hire. Williams doesn't seem to have the verbal skills that many very good coaches display right from the start (e.g., Tom Crean, Mike McCarthy, etc.)

His statements lack force and clarity. And I fear that he'll have a hard time inspiring players, recruits, fans, etc.

I hope I'm dead wrong. Verbal skills certainly aren't the only quality you look for in a coach (maybe not event the first). I want to give him the benefit of the doubt, because he seems like a nice guy.

    But I'm nervous.

  4. tjom Crean = Verbal Skills? Are you kidding? Motor Mouth does not equal verbal skills.

  5. This radio interview made me nervous. He sounds very immature to me. He says what he thinks are the right things, but I just think he lacks a certain gravitas.

I have a very difficult time seeing how this is going to work.
