Newest Warrior: Chris Otule
According to Todd Rosiak, Chris Otule, a 6-foot-10 center from Fort Bend Bush High School in Richmond, Tex., has orally committed to MU.

Rosiak article says he had attention from Baylor, Nebraska, Rice, Kentucky, and Connecticut. He might not be a program maker, but he seems like quality.

I can already hear Homer going on about Otule engineering the Marquette attack.

ReplyDeleteA phenominal job by Crean and his staff to recover from the Shumpert and Swopshire loss. We finally get a quality big man for next year and we still have an awesome back court. A solid get and now we'll have Otule, Mbakwe and Lazar (hopefully) ripping it up down low.
ReplyDeleteNice signing, but I uncomfotable with Crean "over recruiting" (again). What happens if DJ decides not to turn pro after this season? Is one of these kids going suddenly have "academic issues"?

Pretty bright kid cos i know him, i was worried about him committing too early and just jumping on an offer but it seems to be good for him after all and he is concerned about his education too.
