MU Media Update

Colin Fly of the Associated Press is back. In his latest effort, Fly delivers a curtain-raiser for the upcoming season focusing (as you'd expect) on MU's talented backcourt. In addition, while he was left off of the AP's pre-season All-American team, Dominic James did receive votes for that honor.

Per the updated post below on new commit Damian Saunders, here's Todd Rosiak's article on the verbal.

Today is the beginning of the NCAA's early signing period. MU is expected to secure signed LOIs from three forwards (Saunders, Trevor Mbakwe, and Patrick Hazel) as well as combo guard Scott Christopherson.

The Georgetown Voice is channeling Cracked Sidewalks. Reporters Mike Stewart and Keenan Steiner predict a third-place finish for Marquette in the Big East. These guys deliver a solid Big East preview today. In another article at the Georgetown Voice, Phil Perry eschews local beverage preferences in handing out a nickname for the MU squad in his pre-season ranking.

And don't forget about the Marquette wiki at MUScoop.

How right can the "homers" of Georgetown be? They still have AMO playing for us, and if I am not mistaken, we have 2 Freshman in the nest who are pretty darn good.
