Roney Eford Leads Brooklyn Wonders into Inaugural Season

Best wishes to Marquette alum Roney Eford, the coach and general manager of the Brooklyn Wonders as his new squad opens their season next week. The Wonders, the American Basketball Association’s (ABA) newest franchise, will play a 36-game schedule in 2006-2007.

According to Eford:

“With the emergence of the ABA in New York, the Brooklyn Wonders are giving many talented players the opportunity to make their professional basketball dreams a reality. The season opener is less than two weeks away and we’re ready to show our fans that we’ve got game.”
All the best, Roney. Here's his Wonders' bio.
