Welcome class of 2007...recruits sign letters

UPDATED
Scott Christopherson signed his letter of intent to play at Marquette earlier today. A local television station captured the event. Scott verbally committed to play at Marquette two years ago and signed on the bottom line this afternoon. Here's the LaCrosse Tribune's coverage of Scott's decision.

In addition, the Waterbury paper confirms Damian Saunders' commitment to Marquette in today's editon.

Wisconsin Hoops editor Mark Miller stated that Trevor Mbakwe was sick today and unable to sign his Letter or Intent, but will do so later this week.

That means MU needs only to receive LOIs from Damian Saunders and Patrick Hazel to complete the class. If all four sign and come to Marquette, it will put Crean's club one scholarship over the maximum allowed. This would mean either someone is leaving the program next year (James to the NBA, transfer, etc) or perhaps one of the four may not sign.
