Great win ladies! The Men's 1970 NIT was the springboard for the incredible decade long run (2nd best record only to UCLA for the decade), and the Marquette family is all proud and looking forward to building on the women's tradition! (have to admit watching Kansas jump to this 38-12 lead over UNC is exercising my Final 4 demons from their first half blow out of us in 2003).

A great day for MU basketball, right when we needed one!

I wonder if Coach Mitchell wants a promotion...

Great win for Terri and the girls. She is a special coach, and the university is extremely lucky to have her. The WNIT springboarded us to the Tournament last year... hopefully it does the same again.

Big difference between UNC making a tremendous, gutty comeback and not giving up to Crean and company just throwing in the towel after the awful start.

idk, i prefer staying in the WNIT and winning championships . . we're no Tennessee or UCONN yet, we need more time to strengthen our program. Pretty impressive though anyway!!
