MU tops Colorado-Pueblo in season tune-up

The Warriors topped Colorado State University-Pueblo in an exhibition 94-73 yesterday at the Bradley Center. Lazar Hayward paced the team with 23 points and 13 boards. To nobody's surprise Marquette's 'Big Four' each hit for double digits yesterday, the only Warriors to do so. Newcomer Jimmy Butler chipped in 9 points and six rebounds in 19 minutes of action.

Marquette opens the 2008-2009 regular season on Friday when they host Houston Baptist at the Bradley Center.
