Quick News and Notes

Getting caught up on some recent media updates.

Rosiak has a season preview, as the Seniors aim to finish strong. The heart of the article is that, despite the success the Seniors have experienced, they have only one NCAA win to show for it. The fans realize it... the players realize it. However, let's not let it take away from how much these guys have helped rebuild the program. Making the NCAA tournament every year, or even three (and hopefully four) years in a row is not something that can be taken for granted at Marquette. Yet.

Tomorrow is the first (and only) exhibition game of the season. Game time is 1 pm.

Can't make it to the game? The folks at MUTV will stream coverage live over the Internet. You'll need to download Microsoft Silverlight to get it to work.

Kudos to Jerel McNeal and Dominic James. They were named Preseason Wooden Award Candidates. Here is the official release.

Finally, on a lighter note, here's a funny youtube clip of Travis Diener. Turns out Travis got himself a Technical Foul for giving a forearm shiver to Amare Stoudemire. Stoudemire is a chump and a bad actor to boot. Getting knocked down by the 6'1 PG? weak...
