Diener plays well in Magic's loss to Bobcats

See, there was a reason why the Magic refused to give into those trade requests for Travis Diener. Check out the line from the feisty point guard in Thursday's 99-89 loss to the Charlotte Bobcats: 5-for-6 from the field, including 3-for-4 from 3-point range, 3-for-3 from the line, totaling 16 points as well as three rebounds, three assists, one steal, no turnovers and three fouls in 26 minutes.

In his six games prior to tonight, Diener totaled 17 points in 49 minutes, making just 6 of 19 shots. Here's to hoping former No. 34 will get a couple spots closer to Brian Hill come Saturday when the Magic play Cleveland.

Wow, that's fantastic. I believe Diener was one of the best players to wear a marquette uniform and it makes me so happy to have a good game in the NBA. Keep it up hopefully. WE ARE MARQUETTE!!!
