Bradley Center: Remodel or Replace?

Build a new arena or dramatically renovate the current facility?

This is the question that the City of Milwaukee and the heads of the Bradley Center must now address.......here's an update from the Milwaukee Business Journal -- one focused on the notion of renovation rather than replacement.

So now an 18 year old arena is considered obsolete?? Unreal.

Perhaps it's pro sports that needs to be replaced.

What do you think the chances are of Marquette acquiring the Bradley Center if a new arena is built. It would be an awesome investment for the school and it could use it for lots of functions and activities, in addition to men's bball. It's only a few blocks off campus...

Financially I do not see that scenario happening. The cost of the building would be high and the operating costs not worth.

Since the Bradley Center opened, it has lost money every year of operation and that includes the Bucks as a tenant. A Bradley Center without the Bucks would be an even bigger money loser.
