Travis and Fond du Lac

In case you needed some Travis Diener news .. the FDL Reporter comes through for you today.

(Travis) .. spent most of the summer at his parents' house.

"My mom hears a lot about how I'm staying there, but what else am I going to do?" said Diener, the son of Vicki and Bob Diener, and the subject of a $4.9 million deal with the Indiana Pacers. "I like coming home."

For the Dieners, family is 1-A and basketball is 1-B.

"I still talk to my Mom every day, which for a 25-year-old guy isn't the norm," said Diener, who spent his first two years in the NBA with the Orlando Magic, making $664,209 last season. "But that's just the way our family works."

What a nice boy, calling his mom every day. Puts all us losers to shame.
