S-Curve: March 11 Final Update

Wow. Three major upsets to start the day threw quite a few things into disarray. The biggest story was St. Bonaventure winning the Atlantic-10. I slotted the Bonnies in at a 13. While earlier in the day Marshall was my last team in, my re-evaluation dropped North Carolina State out of the field. Quite simply, they only have one top-50 win, and that is over #50 Texas.

FSU beating UNC pushes them up to the 3-line, knocking off Michigan. Vanderbilt's win over Kentucky was also bad news for the B1G, with Indiana dropping from a 4 to a 5 as the Commodores climbed up.

All that's left to be decided is the B1G title, but I don't think it matters. It's far easier for the Selection Committee to simply finish the bracket now rather than reworking things in 2 hours. When you play your final this late and both teams have an argument as a 1 or 2, it's easier just to leave them both as 2-seeds.

Here's the final S-Curve:
